A good enquiry does not need a complete technical specification. It needs enough context to compare realistic options and identify the questions still to resolve.
Describe the use
Tell us what people will see, where they will stand and how often the display will run. Include whether it is for a permanent installation, a purchased event-display fleet or a permanent venue.
Share the physical brief
Include approximate width and height, installation location, indoor or outdoor use, and any drawings or site photographs. For posters, add the number of units and preferred orientation.
Set commercial expectations
State destination country, required arrival date, delivery scope and an indicative budget if available. Distinguish a target arrival date from the date of the event or installation.
Request comparable proposals
Ask each supplier to identify the proposed configuration, control system, spares, warranty terms, delivery terms and exclusions. Treat certification claims as model-specific: request documents for the actual configuration and destination.
